Preparation: |
Monoclonal antibodies were produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse
myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, E. coli-derived,
recombinant human MCP-4.
|
Purification: |
This IgG1 antibody was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
|
Formulation: |
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in
0.5X phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) at pH 7.2.
|
Catalog #: |
SBH-AMCP4.
|
Source: |
Mouse
|
Stability: |
The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least
one month and for greater than a year when
kept at -800C.
|
Reconstitution: |
When reconstituted in sterile water to a concentration of
1 mg/ml the antibody is stable for at least six weeks
at 2-40C.
|
Applications |
|
ELISA: |
This antibody can be used at a concentration of 1-2 μg/ml, as a capture antibody in conjunction
with a compatible secondary reagent to yield satisfactory results in a sandwich ELISA.
|
Neutralization: |
To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50]
of the biological activity of h-MCP-4 (100 μg/ml),
a concentration of 1-5 μg/ml of this antibody is required.
