Preparation: |
Monoclonal antibodies were produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse
myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, Insect cells-derived,
recombinant human TGF-beta1.
|
Purification: |
This IgG1 antibody was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
|
Formulation: |
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in
0.5X phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) at pH 7.2.
|
Catalog #: |
SBH-ATGFb1
|
Source: |
Mouse
|
Stability: |
The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least
one month and for greater than a year when
kept at -800C.
|
Reconstitution: |
When reconstituted in sterile water to a concentration of
1 mg/ml the antibody is stable for at least six weeks
at 2-40C.
|
Applications |
|
ELISA: |
To detect hTGF-beta 1 by direct ELISA (using 100μl/well antibody solution) a concentration
of at least 5μg/ml of this antibody is required. This monoclonal antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinant
hTGF-beta 1.
