Applications:
ELISA: In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100μl/well), a concentration of 8 μg/ml of this antibody will detect at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinant human IL-11 when used with PeproTech (Rocky Hill, NJ) biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human IL-11 as the detection antibody at a concentration of at least 2μg/ml.
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition (ND50) of the biological activity of h-IL-11 (5 μg/ml), a concentration of 2-4 μg/ml of this antibody is required.
Reconstitution: When reconstituted in sterile water to a concentration of 1 mg/ml the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-40C.
